Hard to find a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than this.
Progress:

So I don’t know where this came from. Still… it’s been an eventful couple of days, and this is what came out.
My soul is not a stately ship that sails at steady pace
From fear and doubt, through hope and joy, to dock at port of grace.
My soul is like a hockey puck that bounces at great speed
From wall of hope to wall of sin to wall of desperate need.
First joy, now fear, across to rage, contentment, anger, zen –
With circumstantial slap-shot I careen away again.
God, save this battered hockey puck, this racing, rattled soul
Keep me in your gracious trapper, bring me to your goal.
[Quick update: FiOS is beautiful, my sister's surgery went well, the baby hasn't come yet, so we're praying hard for some much-loved and very tired parents-to-be.]

Insomnia sketches are the product of a sleepy mind and a wakeful body. Or vice versa, not sure which. Anyway, you draw weird stuff when you can’t sleep. The title of this in my head, last night, was, “He’s More Afraid Of You Than You Are Of Him (Which Means You’re Not Frightened Enough).”
Yeah. Obviously, sleep is a good thing.

I’m not even sure what to say about this, except the animation is beautiful.
(Via Lucas. Nice find, dude!)
Ain’t this just how it feels sometimes?
