About Me
I started my career as a child, drawing for hours on end while lying on the living room floor. I have risen in the world, however, and now draw for hours on end while sitting at an office desk.
After receiving my B.A. in Visual Arts with an emphasis on Graphic Design, I worked for five years as the Creative Director of Lampstand Press and began doing additional freelance graphic design work for the fun of it. I now work as Creative Director for Government Executive Media Group in Washington, DC. In my spare time, I leave my sixth-floor apartment to go on unexpected excursions and voyages with my wife and best friend, Casey, and our two daughters.

Hey David –
Just wanted to say that I stumbled on your site when I was looking into Helplessness Blues. Found your analysis and interpretation really well done. Very logical, and you didn’t make weird leaps like so many people interpreting song and poetry. So well done and good luck to you. I’m an old but I’m glad to see so many youngs like you doing things. Do me a favor, take my kids out to lunch and inspire them, huh? Actually no. They are searching; just haven’t found yet. Great design work too; though I’m no great judge.
