Cowardly Clyde, by Bill Peet

I recently purchased an old copy of Cowardly Clyde, by Bill Peet, under a threadbare pretense of wanting it for our kid’s bookshelf.

Ha. Totally a lie. It’s all for me. Bill Peet was one of my biggest sources of inspiration growing up. You’ve seen his work if you’ve watched Disney’s Sword in the Stone or 101 Dalmatians. He is, simply put, the man.

I think tonight I’ll read Cowardly Clyde aloud to myself as a bedtime story.
