Jonah Hill is up for best supporting actor for Moneyball … never thought I’d type “Jonah Hill” and “Best supporting actor” in the same sentence.
Cars 2 wasn’t nominated, making it the first Pixar movie not to be nominated, much less not a shoo-in for the win. Shame on you and your merchandising cash grab, Pixar. Where is your soul?

Get craft glue and glitter, and rub both all over my chest.
Never, ever, ever, ever, EVER wash or brush my hair.
Go on a strictly all-venison diet.
Enroll in the local high school, and attend every day, over and over and over again.
How could she say no to that ?

Director Chris Nolan is gutsy enough to do it
They’re marketing this very definitively as “the end”
Nolan hasn’t shied away from death of “immortal” characters like Dent in previous films
In our reboot-happy culture, no one is going to complain if Batman starts again in a few years
There is no way that Nolan’s Batman could ever show up in a Justice League movie, which you know DC wants to put out to show up Marvel
We’ll see. But that’s my prediction.
