I think Batman is going to die in TDKR.

I really do. I’m going out on that limb and staking that turf. I think that…

  1. Director Chris Nolan is gutsy enough to do it
  2. They’re marketing this very definitively as “the end”
  3. Nolan hasn’t shied away from death of “immortal” characters like Dent in previous films
  4. In our reboot-happy culture, no one is going to complain if Batman starts again in a few years
  5. There is no way that Nolan’s Batman could ever show up in a Justice League movie, which you know DC wants to put out to show up Marvel

We’ll see. But that’s my prediction.
